Sara Petitt |
| Sara Petitt who also exhibits under the name Sara Gursky-Petitt is a graduate of Bennington College where she was a Fine Arts Major. She has exhibited work at the Museum of Contemporary Crafts, has been in shows curated by Lyle Wexler as well as Nat Trotman of the Guggenheim Museum, Lewis Knauss and Faye Hirsch, Senior Editor of Art in America amongst others. Her work has been exhibited at various Museums in a travelling exhibition called “9 x 9 x 3”. Sara Petitt works with photo collage and often combines writing in her pieces. She is a Professor on the Faculty of the State University of New York and her work is frequently seen in Faculty exhibitions. Sara Petitt has exhibited work at the A.I.R. Gallery, Florence Lynch Gallery and Pleaides Gallery as well as other galleries in New York City. |
